These terms govern your use of Nedavot (“Nedavot,” “we,” “us”), an online fundraising platform. By using the site you agree to them. Questions? Email donations@nedavot.com.

What Nedavot is

Nedavot provides software that lets verified nonprofit organizations run fundraising campaigns and accept donations. Nedavot is a technology provider, not a charity, and does not hold or receive donations: card payments are processed by Stripe and paid directly to the organization's own account, and fund grants are made through The Donors' Fund directly to the organization.

Organizations

• You must be an authorized representative of a registered nonprofit and provide accurate information.
• We may verify your organization's status and may decline, suspend or remove an organization at any time.
• You are responsible for your campaigns, your use of donor data, tax receipts, and complying with the laws that apply to you, including fundraising, raffle and messaging laws.
• You may message donors only if they have agreed to be contacted, and you must honor opt-outs. Do not upload or message anyone who has not consented.

Donors

• Donations are made to the organization you choose, and are generally final and non-refundable except as the organization allows or the law requires.
• Tax-deductibility depends on the organization and your circumstances. Gifts made as grants from a donor-advised fund are receipted by that fund.

Text and WhatsApp messaging program

• Program: donor updates and campaign messages sent on behalf of the nonprofit organization you donated to, through Nedavot.
• How you join: by entering your phone number on a donation form and checking the box to receive text or WhatsApp messages. Consent is optional and not a condition of giving.
• Frequency: varies; typically a few messages per month. Message and data rates may apply.
• Opt out: reply STOP at any time. Reply HELP for help or email donations@nedavot.com.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• See our Privacy Policy. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Acceptable use

Do not use Nedavot for fraud, harassment, unlawful activity, or to interfere with the platform or other users' accounts.

Disclaimers and liability

The platform is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, Nedavot is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the acts of organizations or payment partners, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which may be zero).

Changes

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Continued use means you accept them.
